Pickup, Delivery & Delivery-Fee Guide
Configure fulfillment so renters can understand how they receive the item, what the option costs, and what practical conditions matter.
Why this matters
Fulfillment confusion can turn an otherwise correct booking into a failed event-day handoff. The listing should tell the renter what choices are available before commitment.
Step by step
Choose what you can reliably fulfill
Offer pickup, delivery, or both only when you can execute the option consistently for the listing.
Configure the PartyShare fulfillment controls
Use the Fulfillment step and any supported charge, location, or service controls present in your account.
Make delivery eligibility understandable
If the renter needs to know service area, access, minimum requirements, or timing constraints, communicate them through the supported PartyShare fields and messages.
Price the option clearly
Use the charge model PartyShare supports. Avoid conflicting delivery prices in description, messages, and fulfillment settings.
Ask about difficult access early
Stairs, elevators, loading docks, narrow doors, long carries, restricted parking, or venue windows can change the handoff plan. Clarify them before event day.
Review the live listing
Open the published page and confirm the renter can see the fulfillment choices and related charges.

Correct vs. avoid
Good approach
The listing clearly shows pickup/delivery choices and charges, and the vendor confirms unusual access conditions before the handoff.
Avoid
A listing says “delivery available” but gives no workable eligibility, price, timing, or access expectations until the renter is already committed.
Completion checklist
- I offer only fulfillment methods I can execute.
- Fulfillment settings are complete.
- Charges shown on the listing are accurate.
- Pickup location or delivery instructions are appropriate for the workflow.
- I know what access conditions I need to ask about.
- The renter-facing listing clearly shows the available fulfillment options.
Common mistakes
- Offering delivery everywhere without a workable operating area.
- Putting one delivery price in the description and another in the structured option.
- Ignoring stairs, elevators, loading, or venue time windows.
- Promising an exact arrival time when the actual workflow only supports a window.
- Using custom off-platform terms when PartyShare provides a structured field.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I set fulfillment?
Fulfillment is the third step in the current PartyShare listing wizard.
Choose a delivery model PartyShare can actually support
The launch blueprint recommends the models below, but public vendor instructions should only teach a model that is clearly implemented in the current PartyShare account. If a model is not available, do not recreate it through ambiguous free-form text.
- Pickup only - no vendor delivery offered.
- Fixed delivery charge - one clear fee for an eligible order/service area.
- Base charge plus mileage - only when the system can calculate or clearly present it.
- Zone-based charge - defined service areas with known prices.
- Percentage-based delivery - only where legally and operationally appropriate and supported.
- Custom quote - useful for complex delivery, setup, or large orders when the current workflow supports a quote.
What the renter should understand before committing
- Whether pickup, delivery, or both are offered.
- Whether the event location is eligible.
- The delivery fee or how it will be determined.
- Any minimum order that actually applies.
- Setup or teardown cost when applicable.
- Stairs, elevators, loading docks, parking, long carries, gates, or other access conditions that can affect fulfillment.
- Whether the delivery window is exact or estimated.
Use the current PartyShare fulfillment fields for the structured information, then use Messages for order-specific access details that cannot reasonably be known at listing creation.
Completion checklist

- Minimum order is disclosed only if it applies and is supported.
- Setup/teardown cost is disclosed when applicable.
- Stairs/elevator/loading/access conditions are addressed.
- Delivery window is described as exact or estimated.
- No unsupported delivery pricing is hidden in free-form text.
